Terms of use
Last updated 2 August 2026
The service
LaunchCheck fetches a URL you provide and reports what it finds. It is free, requires no account, and is offered as it is. There is no uptime commitment and no support obligation.
The findings are informational
The checks reflect widely held conventions and our reading of how search engines and AI crawlers behave. Some of that is documented; some is inference. The score is a judgement, not a measurement, and the report shows its own arithmetic so you can disagree with it.
Nothing here is legal, security or professional advice. Decisions about your own site remain yours. In particular, a good score does not mean a site is secure, compliant, accessible, or that it will rank.
Fair use
Please do not:
- Scan sites in order to disrupt them, or at a volume they did not invite
- Attempt to bypass the rate limit, or automate scans against the endpoint
- Use the service to probe systems you have no permission to test
Requests are rate limited per IP address. Access may be withdrawn from anyone abusing the service.
Sites you scan
You are responsible for what you submit. LaunchCheck requests only publicly
accessible pages, identifies itself as LaunchCheckBot, and
retains no content from them — see the bot page and the
privacy policy.
No warranty, no liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the service or from acting on its findings — including lost traffic, lost revenue, or changes you make to your site on the strength of a report.
If you are a consumer in the EU, nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by contract.
Availability and changes
The service runs on free infrastructure and may be unavailable, slow, or withdrawn without notice. Checks, scoring and these terms may change. The date at the top reflects the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands.
